The Falcon Eyes SG-100BK has the characteristic features of studio and camera flash guns. The SG-100 Strobe Flash gun can be used as a camera flash gun, but thanks to its compact size, also as a lightweight, portable studio flash.

The Strobe Flash is placed on a camera hotshoe and receives power from an external battery pack. This external battery pack comes with the set and is powered by two included NP-F960F Li-Ion batteries (Sony compatible). With the supplied stand you can place the flash on a table. The stand also has 1/4″ thread for placing it on a light stand or tripod.

Bryan was pleasantly surprised by the sheer power of this ringflash. This makes the flash unit suitable for various uses, indoors as wel as outdoors.

Use of ring flashes

Ring flashes are most often used in situations where shadows are not desired. By throwing a ring of light around the object, shadows are reduced to a minimum. Because this ring flash has it’s own power source, you can also use it off-camera for more interesting uses such as studio photography or model photography. Continue reading →

The SSK-3150F Studio Flash Kit is a succesful combination of useful studiotools at a friendly price. With three flash heads, two softboxes, the backdrop in black and white and the other accessories, it fulfills most photo studio needs. A nice side effect of the small stidio system with compact flashes is the easy transportation.

Those who need a flash kit for daily, professional use, in a more rough environment, will probably go for another product such as the Falcon Eyes TE-Series, or look at other brands, where you will probably end up in another price class.

This set is perfect as a first studio for hobby photographers, a mobile studio, a id-photo studio or those who sell products on eBay.

For perfect photos of smaller products, Falcon Eyes has designed this 40 x 50 cm size tabletop product table. Included are two 120-LED daylight lamps (120 x 180 x 10 mm), which are powered by batteries or the included AC Adapters.

The LED Lights emit a neutral light at a 5500K color temperature for perfectly lit photos of products up to about ø 35 cm in size.

Just arrived: Double Sided Collapsible Background Boards

Blue / Grey Background BoardsWhen you work on location, a foldable background comes in handy with any portrait shoot. Falcon Eyes now has three double sided backgrounds boards available: white & black, grey & chroma blue and chroma blue & chroma green.

The latter two can also be used for chroma key purposes (removal of the visible background in software such as Photoshop).
